Cyndi Tucker

Cyndi Tucker is excited to start her second year teaching beginning band at Sloan Creek Intermediate and assisting at Willow Springs. She is in her 26th year of teaching band, and loves working with young musicians! Mrs. Tucker has previously taught at Draper Intermediate in Wylie ISD, Cobb Middle School in Frisco ISD, and at Wilson and Schimelpfenig Middle Schools in Plano ISD. Mrs. Tucker is a French horn player with a Bachelors of Music Education from New Mexico State University and a Masters of  Music Education from Texas A&M Commerce.

Mrs. Tucker’s husband is also a band director, and together they have two mostly grown children. The oldest is starting her first year as an elementary art teacher, and the youngest will start college this year.
